Notes for my future assistant. Let's both of us hope that I don't change too much in between now and whenever it is I have enough wealth and importance to hire you.

As we’re packing up and getting ready to leave for the night, I will not ask, “Oh, did you [do a completely unimportant thing that I never asked you to do, which will take at least 2 hours]?” and then demand that you do it at once.
