Bait and Switch (positions)
If I am in charge of hiring at the company, I will not hire you for a position that is not being my assistant, a position that you quite like and are very good at, and then, upon seeing your success in that position, decide that I want you to be my assistant, force you to switch jobs, and then subject you to a series of touchy-feely sit-downs that occur every few weeks, in which I inform you that “I get the feeling you might not be 100% happy about being my assistant” and act as if I have no idea why that might be the case.
